Just the other day I had the funniest conversation with a friend, my neighbor Glenn. We were walking down the street talking about random stuff and having a really nice time. It was about 70 degrees in New York, maybe a little higher. We were going to get candles. I like T.J. Maxx candles because they don’t cost that much, but she likes the Bath & Body Works candles. So we were walking from 134th and Fifth Avenue, and the topic of medicine cabinets came up.

The oddest thing is, we don’t understand why people go to other people’s houses and open up their medicine cabinet. Are you somebody who does that? I’m just curious what the point is. Are they looking for something?

Ironically, this happened to me. I had a guest over. I didn’t really know him that well, but I’d hung out with him a couple of times. He was in the bathroom a long time, so I knocked. He said yes, I opened the door, and he was in my medicine cabinet. I said, “What are you looking for, boy?” He said, “Oh, I was looking for such and such.” I can’t even remember what he said he was looking for. I just found it so odd that he was in my medicine cabinet.

Another friend of mine, Tony, told me about the same thing, I think years ago. He puts marbles in his medicine cabinet when he has company over. So when somebody goes in the bathroom and opens the medicine cabinet, the marbles fall out, and now we know what they’re doing.

If you have to go through all that to figure out if somebody is in your medicine cabinet, I don’t think that person should be in your house. Don’t you agree?

If this has happened to you, I want to hear about it in the comments at the bottom of this article. Tell us your story. I think this is hilarious. And tell me, what do you think they’re looking for?
