Write for OVAH MAG
OVAH MAG covers queer culture, luxury and who’s hot right now. We’re looking for writers with something to say about music, fashion, food, wellness, dating and nightlife, and the people making moves in our community.
To apply, send your full name, a short bio, why you want to write for us, and links to two or three pieces you’ve written. Contributing writers commit to at least one article a month. If we like your voice, the editor will set up a call to talk next steps.
Contributing writers aren’t paid right now. You get your byline and author bio on OVAH MAG, and published work you can point to.
Send a Guest Article
Guest articles run 500 to 800 words. They have to be original and can’t run anywhere else first, including your own blog or social media. No anonymous pieces.
Send a finished article, not an idea or an outline. Paste it into the message box as plain text, with a line about yourself at the end. If we want to run it, we’ll get back to you within a week. If you haven’t heard from us by then, we can’t use it this time.
Our AI Rule
AI-written articles aren’t allowed on OVAH MAG. You can use AI to clean up your grammar, but the writing has to be yours. If we find out an article was written by AI, the article and the writer come off the site. Read more on our How We Work page.
