Cinnaholic in Chelsea

Cinnaholic in Chelsea

When you walk through Chelsea after staying away from the neighborhood for a long time, you notice new shops everywhere. Let me tell you about one of them. Oh my gosh, Cinnaholic. My bestie and I were walking down the street on our way to G Lounge (make sure you check out my article on G Lounge) when we stopped in, and the owner, Chance, was there. I told him we’d be back, because I wanted to try the Strawberries & Cream and my bestie was eyeing the Cookie Monster.

When we went back, I have to be honest, it was the best experience. The staff was amazing. It was a Friday night, October 16th, and the girls there were fabulous. Chance wasn’t there, but I promised him I was coming back and I did.

If you see the pictures, you’ve got to head over to this location and get some. It’s Friday night and I’m sitting at 42nd Street writing this, and I cannot wait to get home. There’s a half-naked man dancing across the platform. He’s cute, but anyway, he isn’t taking my mind off this tasty cinnamon bun I’m about to eat.

Chance was one of the nicest owners of a new shop. From what I understand, they just opened in Chelsea, so you have to stop by.

Here’s what I found out about them. This is Cinnaholic’s first real storefront in New York City. It opened September 4, 2026, and they did a ribbon cutting on October 7. Before this they ran a ghost kitchen in Times Square that only did delivery. The shop is owned by Chance and Zoë Dean, a husband and wife team with two daughters. Chance is a high school theatre teacher on the Lower East Side and works the kitchen after school. Zoë handles the social media.

Everything they make is 100 percent plant-based, no eggs and no dairy, and you build your own roll. They have over 20 frostings and over 20 toppings. The Cookie Monster roll comes with cookie dough, chocolate chips, and a chocolate drizzle. They also do mini baby buns, cookie cakes, cookie dough by the tub, Dole Whip soft serve, and coffee from Coffee Project NY.
