A night at G Lounge is something to remember. But I must say, it’s not like it used to be. I remember when the doors first opened. I was on line waiting for G Lounge on 19th Street in New York City to open up, and Lord have mercy, it was the place to go and be seen.

I loved the energy tonight, though. My best friend and I went on October 16, 2026. Everything was popping. The music was great. The drinks were flowing. They had their Halloween decorations up, a little too early for me.

What I don’t like about the space is the flowers on the ceiling. They really take away from what G Lounge used to be. I know they’re trying to elevate, but the experience isn’t the same.

I will say this time around I had a really extra, spectacular time. They have food now. So if you’re part of the gay elite, this might be where you want to go for a cocktail before the night gets a little shady. LOL, you know what I’m talking about. I haven’t been there after eleven, so I can’t tell you if the tables get moved to make a dance floor. But I will say there were cute boys, cute bartenders, and great drinks.
