To celebrate one of my birthdays several years ago, my ex and bestie took me on a scavenger hunt / Amazing Race style run around New York City. We visited three fun venues I had never thought to explore. Taking time during the day was a great way to unwind and relax and have a good time. For your next date, think about making it during the day during the week. These ideas might have you frisky and ready for more by the end of the day.
Get it On at the Museum of Sex
MoSex’s permanent collection has over 15,000 artifacts from works of art, photography, clothing and costumes, technological inventions and historical ephemera. You and your date can “Jump for Joy” inside a titillating fairground inspired bounce house and see where your physical being takes you. Share your thoughts on porn while visiting “HardCore: A Century and a Half of Obscene Imagery.” And find “Splendor in the Grass” as you explore an adult playground/campground through physical, visual and olfactory experiences. And when you’re ready, the gift shop will be there to grab some trinkets on the way out.
Get Physical
Feeling all Game of Thrones? Try some “sword fighting” the warrior way at Sword Class NYC. Maybe you want to be the next flying trapeze duo, so learn how to “fly” on the trapeze at Trapeze School, now with schools in New York City; Los Angeles; Washington, DC; and Chicago. Or if you’re a bit less adventurous, you can ping your pong in Bryant Park. And for the nature buffs, get some fresh air on a Hike in the Woods at several NYC Parks.
Enhance the Production Quality of Your Next Tumblr Video
Find better techniques to improve and enhance your sex videos by visiting the Museum of the Moving Image, a one-of-a-kind destination and the country’s only museum dedicated to the art, history, technique, and technology of the moving image in all its forms. Reflect on your current style at the core exhibition Behind the Screen a one-of-a-kind experience that immerses you in the creative and technical process of producing, promoting, and presenting films, television shows, and digital entertainment.
Fantastical Twirling at the SeaGlass Carousel
Conjuring up The Battery’s history as having been the first home to one of the nation’s earliest aquariums, The New York Aquarium, the SeaGlass Carousel was a project 10 years in the making. The SeaGlass Carousel opened just a year ago and provides a mystical “underwater” experience in which you can knuddel within and among large iridescent fish while gliding through a 360° aquatic adventure.
TV Buffs will Love The Paley Center for Media
Formerly known as the Museum of Television & Radio, your general admission to the Paley Center for Media allows you 1.5 hours of access to the Paley Archive in the Library where you can watch or listen to any of the over 160,000 television and radio programs and advertisements. When I visited years ago, I was able to see of all things, the pilot for All in the Family as well as episodes of The Twilight Zone, I Love Lucy, and Fantasy Island. Find those childhood shows that will have you feeling nostalgic.
