“All About Us” is a soulful track with an upbeat vibe. It’s also a track that had me scratching my head, asking myself, who is singing?
If you check my iPod playlist today, you will find more female vocalists than men. I’ve always wondered why I prefer women singers over men. There have always been a few male singers who keep plugged in such as Maxwell, Brian McKnight, the dearly departed Prince, Rilan, and Shy Girls. I listen to the them regularly. They each possess a different sound and vibe. Depending on my mood each one taps into an emotion similar to their female counterparts.
From the track “All About Us,” I might be adding a new male vocalist to my playlist rotation. A southern boy at heart, Jordan Fisher was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. From his Facebook page, Fisher loves to be in the studio and records every chance he gets.
“Jordan Fisher has been training and working as an actor, singer, songwriter, dancer, and choreographer since he was 10 years old. He has worked with ABC Family, Disney, Disney XD, Nickelodeon, Sony and most recently, starred as SEACAT in Disney’s Teen Beach Movie!”
Jordan has a website, but unfortunately, you’ll only find links to his social media. Although we understand the need for artists and marketing professionals to drive visitors to the music, it makes it more difficult for those of us who want to learn more about an artist to connect with them.
Fisher released a single 3-months ago, called “Counterfeit.” It’s good, but “All About Us” is my favorite and I’m happy they filmed a video for it. Based on his YouTube videos, 188,000 plus viewers also agree with me.
Keep your ears open for more music from Jordan Fisher! He is a new addition to my playlist, and hopefully yours too.
