Twenty year old out and proud Australian actor and singer/songwriter Troye Sivan just dropped his first LP, Blue Neighborhood. This year has been a great year for this “artist to watch.” This year alone he’s received a Teen’s Choice Award and a spot on Time Magazine’s 25 Most Influential Teens of 2014, it seems the stars are beginning to align for the young artist.
This talented 20-something built his brand on YouTube — where he outed himself as gay to millions of subscribers in 2013 — and now makes post-genre pop for the Spotify set. Following the EPs Wild and TRXYE (both of which hit No. 5 on the Billboard 200).
