Having style and being fashionable is more than just putting on clothes. Style and fashion are forms of expression; expressions allowing each individual to be who they are by the clothes and accessories they wear. When asked how a man can be stylish I always suggest that a man’s fashion choice is an expression of character and when unsure of how to start creating a stylish look, I suggest starting with an accessory. Recently I met Jianhui, a jewelry designer based in London, who is creating accessories that will no doubt be the fastest way for someone looking for a signature piece to spice up his wardrobe. Overall I loved the entire collection. Some may say the collection is devoted to women. However, I have a different opinion. It can be for the modern gay man, metrosexual, or the individual who likes to be daring and understands and appreciates fashion and style. I was gifted one of his most beautiful black-beaded, hand-crocheted scarves. The accolades, comments, and interest from onlookers was so endearing that I ultimately could not separate myself from this marvelous accessory. This accessory is wearable art. Men and women inquiring about the scarf gasped with love and appreciation and several asked if they could purchase one. With excitement they pleaded with me to tell them who and how and where they could purchase this design.
